Terms of Service

Welcome to TÂVE. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of tave.com.ng, and any purchase you make from the house. By using the site or placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Products and compositions

• Product descriptions, olfactory notes, sizes, and prices are given in good faith and to the best of our knowledge.
• Because compositions are made in small batches with natural materials, minor variation between bottles is a feature of the craft, not a defect.
• Photographs are indicative. Colour and finish may appear slightly different in person depending on light and screen.
• We may add, refine, retire, or discontinue chapters at any time without notice.

2. Availability

• All bottles are subject to availability.
• We may limit the quantity of a chapter available to a single customer or address.
• We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, reselling, or a pricing or description error.

3. Orders and payment

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is confirmed only once payment is authorised and you receive an order confirmation from us.
• Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. We accept methods presented at checkout, including Paystack and card payment.
• Prices exclude shipping and any customs duties or taxes unless expressly stated.
• Customers shopping from Nigeria are advised to use Paystack to avoid additional charges applied by their bank.

4. Shipping and delivery

Delivery windows shown on the site are estimates from dispatch. We take reasonable care to send orders on time, but we are not liable for delays outside our control, including those caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure. Full details are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy.

5. Returns and refunds

Returns are handled under our Shipping & Returns policy. Opened bottles cannot be returned unless defective. Return shipping is at the customer's cost unless the item is defective or was sent in error.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
• engage in fraudulent transactions or chargeback abuse;
• violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the site, its servers, or its networks;
• resell TÂVE products through unauthorised channels or represent yourself as an authorised reseller.

7. Account security

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.

8. Intellectual property

The TÂVE name, the SURREAL composition, house imagery, copy, packaging, and all other materials on the site are the intellectual property of TÂVE and are protected by applicable law. Nothing on the site grants you a licence to use them except for lawful personal, non-commercial browsing.

9. Disclaimer

The site and products are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TÂVE makes no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded, and does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that individual scent experiences will match every skin.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TÂVE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising from or connected to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
